THE ART OF BURNING

Follow these steps to burn your candle safely

Read the CLP at the bottom if your candle
When lighting keep away from hair, face and body
ALWAYS trim your wick before lighting
NEVER burn for longer than 3 hours
Keep away from direct sunlight - this will interact with the oils
Keep at east 1 meter away from flammable objects
Place on a heat-proof surface
Keep away from children and pets
When lit, keep away from wind/breeze
Always leave 1cm of wax at the bottom of the container unburned to prevent the jar from overheating
If you notice 'sweat beads' on the surface of your candle, wipe away before lighting

diffuser maintenance

Get the most out of your diffuser!

Follow the set up instructions that come with your order
To maintain, give your bottle a swirl every now and again to make sure that everything stays mixed
Flip your reeds over every 10 days or so, or whenever you feel like the scent might be getting a little less noticeable.
MAKE SURE not to get any of the oils on your skin. Wear protective gloves if necessary
Make sure your reeds are not touching any fabric, walls etc. As the essential oils rise up the reeds they could stain anything that they touch
Keep your diffuser out of direct sunlight as this can interact with the essential oils
Read the CLP at the bottom of your bottle

cleaning your candle jar

Follow these steps to clean and re-use your candle jar!

There should be 1cm of unburned wax left at the bottom of your jar
Once cool, fill your jar with hot water
Leave for 4hrs
The wax should rise to the surface of the candle
Remove the wax from your jar and throw this in the bin
Repeat steps 2-5 as needed
Add some soap and more hot water to your jar
Leave until cool enough to touch
Wash out your jar with soap and water
Repeat as needed until your jar is clean!
Use your jar as a mini vase, pen holder or for arts and crafts!
